Your room will be ready to welcome you starting at 5 pm and must be vacated on the day of your departure by 11 am to allow us to prepare it for the following guests. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 8 pm

We serve breakfast between 8 am and 10 am Let us know in advance if you would like to have breakfast earlier, we will try to accommodate you.

For the comfort and health of all, smoking is prohibited in all rooms of Château Papounan . However, you can smoke in the garden where an ashtray is at your disposal. Should you still decide to smoke in one of the rooms, we will charge you a compensation of €250 for cleaning and disinfection costs.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate your pet dog, cat, guinea pig or other raccoon. We can, however, recommend a boarding house for cats and dogs situated in a neighboring village. We selected it for our own dogs when we travel and they can't accompany us.

The balance must be paid upon arrival at Château Papounan . Meals and additional services not mentioned in the contract or quote will be payable at the end of the stay. We are equipped with a payment terminal and accept payments by card or cash.

The Médoc Cœur de Presqu'île Community of Communes has introduced a tourist tax of €1.05 per person, per night, throughout its territory. This amount will be added to your invoice and is intended to encourage tourist visits to the community or expenses relating to actions to protect and manage natural spaces for tourist purposes in our territory.

Stays are only guaranteed by receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay when booking.

This deposit can be paid by:

• Credit card when booking on our website

• Bank transfer within 5 days of booking and before the start of the stay

If the deposit is not received on time, the reservation will be automatically canceled.

In the event of cancellation or modification before the start of the stay, if it occurs:

• more than 30 days before the start of the stay, the deposit is fully refunded

• up to 3 days before the arrival date, 30% of the total amount of the stay will be retained

• late (less than 3 days) or no-show, Château Papounan may require payment of the entire balance of the stay that had been reserved.

Cancellation must be notified to us by letter or e-mail. We will confirm the change or cancellation to you by email. Any stay started is due in full except in cases of force majeure.
